Tuesday, November 29th, 2005 By Sammy Shuster, email On November 29th, 2005, I attended my first taping of Late Night with Conan O'Brien. I've been a giant fan since as long as I can remember, so I was extremely excited. I cut work AND class and arrived there three hours early to try and get a good seat. As it turned out, me and my friends were able to sit in the second row! All I wanted in the world to happen before the show ended was for Conan to somehow acknowledge my presence. So, as he was walking towards the studio door at the end of the show I decided to scream very wildly and loudly for him since I knew it was my last chance. He looked right at me, and instictively blew him a kiss! He pointed at me and blew one back! I thought it was so cool of him to acknowledge a crazy fan girl like myself, and so I decided to write him this song in tribute. I sent it the show so that maybe he'll hear it and let me play it on his show! |
